Fantastic holiday home in a prime location opposite the ski slope with panoramic views The property is in a prime location with a direct view of the ski area and the summer toboggan run, which are just 100 metres away. Recently, in addition to the toboggan run, a mountain bike downhill course with various levels of difficulty has also been created. At weekends and on public holidays, the slope is floodlit so that it can be used even after dark. All everyday amenities are just a few minutes' walk away. The house itself is part of a holiday complex with a total of 9 houses on 12,000 square metres of land. A special feature compared to the other properties is the highest location with the resulting unobstructed view and the possibility to park 2 cars directly in front of the house - weather permitting. The Mathias-Schmidt-Berg opposite offers excellent winter sports opportunities with its 4 downhill runs and 3 lifts, and from spring it boasts one of the longest summer toboggan runs in the country.The outdoor area consists of a flat, spacious and secluded garden, a covered terrace with an unrivalled panoramic view and parking spaces with turning facilities directly in front of the house.The entire property was completely renovated in 2015 and is therefore in excellent, modern condition. The spacious living room with integrated dining area offers unforgettable moments during your stay.

To round off the whole thing, the revolving wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere and you can access the terrace directly from the living room, where a wonderful panoramic view awaits you. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with flat-screen TVs to get you through even the dullest of days.

The as-new kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and ceramic hob, and the sofa can easily be converted into a sunbathing area where you can spend cosy evenings or rainy afternoons. Unfortunately, we have to point out that pets are not allowed on the sofa or in the beds.
If beds/sofas/blankets are soiled with pet hair, we will unfortunately have to charge additional cleaning fees depending on the time required. Please remember to bring dog blankets/dog towels!a short distance from the holiday home you will find beautiful nature with meadows and forests, where you can let your soul dangle. escape from everyday life and recharge your batteries in our holiday home, it's worth it!This is a non-smoking holiday home in order to provide the same atmosphere for everyone. The covered terrace of the property is ideal for smokers. Why should you choose our holiday home? In 2008 we acquired, renovated and sold the holiday complex with 9 holiday homes on 12,000 square metres of land. However, we have kept this house, in the top location with the most beautiful view, for our own, exclusively private use. Accordingly, we invested a great deal of love in the subsequent complete refurbishment, and even several interior walls had to give way to our creative urge, resulting in a truly beautiful property that is second to none. Unfortunately, the initially euphoric use of the house ebbed away more and more on our part. This is probably due to the fact that we live only 10km away in a neighbouring village and therefore don't really get the holiday feeling. That's why we decided to let this gem out so that other people can also enjoy this unique property (and of course earn a bit of money). Try it out, you won't regret it.

We also have a large holiday home over 2 floors about 5 km away, which can be occupied over 2 floors for up to 16 people and has an identical view. It is also possible to rent only one floor of this property if the number of people is not so large. In 2017 we also opened a Fouch wooden log cabin in neighbouring Bad Lauterberg, which was classified with 5 stars by the German Tourism Association.
