The bathing area is only 150 metres away. There is a marina with bistro and petrol station for boats, boat hire and a small natural beach.Vieregge, the small, dreamy harbour village with a marina, is located in the north-west, the most scenic part of the island of Rügen. Nestled in the nature reserve on Breetzer Bodden. Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in Neuenkirchen, 4 km away. The district town of Bergen is approx. 20 km away, the sub-centre of Gingst only approx. 15 km, the beautiful island of Hiddensee is best reached by boat, otherwise it is approx. 15 minutes by car from Vieregge to the Schaprode ferry. The natural bathing beach was extensively renovated and recultivated by the municipality of Vieregge in 2005. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the residential and water complex and can be reached on foot. Here you can enjoy a quiet swim in the well-tempered and gently sloping Bodden waters. The beach is sampled every 14 days during the bathing season by the Amt West-Rügen. On the bathing water map of the island of Rügen, this beach is labelled 'very good'. Two 17th century box chairs and the stone epitaph 'Usedom' are very interesting contemporary witnesses to the church's history. An estate complex, built at the end of the 19th century, is known to art lovers as the Liddow Cultural Estate. Dit natuurlijke strand is prachtig. Helaas ligt het, net als veel andere hondenstranden, erg afgelegen en is het slechts 50 meter lang. Adres: Badeweg 5, 18556 Breege.
Hondenstrand Glowe - Rügen (Oostzee) -

Zeer mooi schoon strand met strandstoelen. De honden kunnen hier vrij rondlopen en spelen waar ze willen. Horeca en toiletten vindt u een stukje verderop op het strand. De wandeling vanaf de tegenoverliggende wijk kan te voet in 5 minuten worden afgelegd.
Hondenstrand Nonnevitz/Bakenberg - Rügen (Oostzee) -

Zeer mooi strand! Niet zo druk als sommige anderen. Lekker rustig en ontspannen om te wandelen. Ook het aangrenzende bos is erg mooi. Alleen de trap naar beneden naar het strand is wat lastig met een hond. Het strand ligt bij toegang F.
Hondenstrand Vitte Hiddensee (Oostzee) -
afstand tot vakantiewoning: 14,45km
Het strand van Hiddensee is ook leuk voor honden. Houd er echter rekening mee dat het hondenstrand in de zomermaanden niet voor Vitte ligt, maar alleen vanaf de dijk richting Neuendorf. Het pad langs de Bodden is richting het klooster beter dan het stuk strand vanaf Nationalparkhaus. Adres: Süderende 96, 18565 Insel Hiddensee.
Hondenstrand Binz - Rügen (Oostzee) -

Het hondenstrand is extreem schoon en de sfeer is leuk. De mensen zijn vriendelijk en het strand is niet te druk. De zee is perfect voor honden om in rond te rennen, omdat het water erg ondiep is. Strandstoelen beschikbaar. Bijna steenvrij zwemstrand.
