This comfortable holiday apartment was renovated in 2013 and is at the heart of the typical Pyrenees village of Barèges. It provides a maximum of comfort all year round, for a perfect and relaxing stay. The apartment is in a typical old Barégeois stone house in quiet surroundings and very close to all amenities, including the ski bus stop. Comfortable holiday apartment in a typical mountain village, situated in the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees and by the famous Col de Tourmalet pass, ideal for skiers, hikers and cyclistsThe apartment has its own parking space. You can store your skis and hiking boots in a lockable room. There is also an electric dryer. Pets can be brought free of charge. The 35m² apartment is on the ground floor of the house and can accommodate four people. The apartment offers wireless Internet access, a highchair, a child bed and use of a washing machine, all free of charge. The open kitchen in an American style has a bar with two stools and is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, a conventional oven, a coffee machine and a ceramic hob. The living room provides a sofa bed (140cm wide), a flatscreen TV, a DVD player and a dining space for four people. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed 140cm wide and a corner cupboard. The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, a towel radiator and a combined washing machine and dryer. The apartment is heated with electric radiators in every room. There are shops within 100 metres of the apartment. The apartment is ideal for cyclists who would like to take on the famous Col du Tourmalet. Hikers will enjoy the many trails, for example GR 10 through the mountains of the Pyrenees. Skiers will find more than 100 kilometres of pistes at the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees. Famous places of interest nearby that are worth a trip include the imposing nature experience of the Cirque de Gavarnie cliff bowl, the Pic du Midi de Bigorre with an important astronomical observatory, or the pilgrimage site of Lourdes.
