Nestling in the heart of the superb Provencal village of Lorgues, Villa les Pierres d'Antan boasts 250 m2 of interior space and state-of-the-art facilities. Designed to accommodate a maximum of 6 people, it offers three spacious bedrooms, a 135m2 living room with fitted kitchen opening onto a south-facing terrace with two outdoor lounges, a swimming pool and a bubbelbad. Situated in a quiet street in the village, it is a haven of peace, with space for 5 cars so you can enjoy all the village amenities on foot. These include the famous Lorgues market, held every Tuesday and Friday, which has won one of the most beautiful markets in France. If you're keen to explore the area on foot, you'll be able to take full advantage of the many vineyards and wine-tasting cellars in the area, the Sainte Croix lake and the Verdon gorges, or the Saint Tropez peninsula and its beaches, all just 45 minutes away by car. Finally, gourmets won't want to miss a stop at Chez Bruno, the famous gourmet restaurant and veritable sanctuary of the Var truffle. Valérie welcomes you to this villa, which she has thought up with you in mind, both in terms of amenities and comfort. Deeply attached to her village, she will undoubtedly be an efficient guide to make your stay a real success. The Pierres d'Antan villa is located in a quiet part of Lorgues, in a street with little traffic. Most of the shops are within 100 to 200 metres of the villa, including 6 or 7 restaurants in the immediate vicinity, with no need to use a vehicle, and the same applies to the retail outlets: bakery, mini-market and supermarket.From the main room of the villa you can access the south-facing terrace where the swimming pool (2m x 5m) is located, equipped with an alarm and guardrail, as well as the more shaded north-facing terrace where you will find the Jacuzzi. Both terraces have seating areas for your peace and quiet. Note that the swimming pool is more for cooling off than for playing sports. Behind the open-plan kitchen is a fitness area with an exercise bike, treadmill and stepper. There are also five parking spaces in the courtyard.When you stay at the Villa des pierres d'Antan, you'll have all the comforts you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The ground floor comprises the main living area with the open-plan kitchen (125 m²), equipped with all the necessary appliances: oven, hob, American fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The main room is equipped with a centralised roller shutter control system that allows all the shutters to be closed simultaneously, or you can operate them individually using the controls near each shutter. This living area has two televisions, as do two of the bedrooms. The three bedrooms are on the first floor: - To the left at the top of the stairs, a bedroom with a double bed, a dressing room, a bathroom and a toilet. - In the centre of the landing is a bedroom with twin beds, dressing room, bathroom and toilet. This bedroom is at the end of the corridor on the left as you leave the bedroom. - To the right at the top of the stairs is a bedroom with a large double bed, which uses the same facilities as the second bedroom. Only two of the bedrooms and the main room are individually air-conditioned and heated, using the remote controls.When you leave the villa, take the road that turns left (for 100 m), at the end of which you fork slightly to the right and take the stairs that run alongside the post office. You will see a Distribanque on the right in case you need it. Cross the small courtyard in front of the post office and you're back on the main avenue. Most of the shops are on the left, including a bakery (about 150 m away), ice cream parlour, various restaurants, tobacconist, newsagent and hairdresser. Opposite you is the Avenue de Toulon, with a pharmacy and doctor's surgery on the right. At the end of this avenue (400m) is a Casino supermarket. Every Tuesday, this main boulevard is closed to traffic as it is pedestrianised for the market, a real curiosity in the village.
