During the summer, the municipality of Taviano organises cultural and recreational events, such as concerts, theatre shows, open-air cinema, fairs, festivals and sports events. It is ideal for those seeking a quiet holiday, immersed in nature and far from the chaos of the more crowded tourist resorts.Worth visiting in the surroundings is the Regional Natural Park of Sant'Andrea Island and the Punta Pizzo coastline; a protected area that offers paths immersed in the Mediterranean maquis and pine forest, ideal for walking and birdwatching.
