On the ground floor, a living room with fireplace forms the centre of the house. From here you have access to the three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with two single beds and the third with two single beds and adjoining shower. The single beds can be joined. The other bathroom has a bathtub.A wooden staircase leads up to the mezzanine where there is a large kitchen/dining room with a fireplace for barbecues. From here you exit onto a terrace with an iron table and chairs. Another terrace, also with iron table and chairs, shaded by two old oak trees, overlooks the valley. The house, furnished with family period furniture, is fully equipped for 6 persons. Drinking water from the public service, instant hot water, central heating, cot and high chair. Barbecue is possible in the kitchen.Mosquito nets on all windows. Stereo, and books. WI-FI.Casa MULINELLO, is one of the 2 stone houses that are part of the Capanne di Sopra estate. Although they are close to each other, their layout allows for totally autonomous use. The site is 1.3 km from Montefollonico and 7 km from Montepulciano, in a secluded and panoramic position, with a wide view over the valley of Montepulciano, the temple of San Biagio, the peak of Monte Amiata and the hills of the Val d'Orcia . Approximately 400 metres from the provincial road, the house is only accessible via a private dirt road, in the midst of olive groves, vineyards and woods, in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.Montefollonico provides basic services (grocery shops, bank, pharmacy, restaurants, sports bar); Montepulciano is 7 km away by car, Torrita di Siena is 5 km away.METHODS FOR EXCURSIONS : You will be in the middle of a region with sites of great historical and artistic interest: Montepulciano, Pienza and the Val d'Orcia (UNESCO World Heritage List), San Quirico, Cortona, Chiusi, Monte San Sanvino, Asciano, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, and Lake Trasimeno. All are within an hour and a half's drive, at most.The nearest thermal baths and spas are in S. Albino ( 7 km), Sarteano (15 km), Bagno Vignoni (16 km), Bagni San Filippo ( 20 km), Rapolano (20 km).
