Romantic wood cottage - Robinson Crusoe style holidays in the green heart of Croatia -5 mins walking to the Lake Lokve- - 30 mins drive to the Adriatic sea cost- This stunning vacation house is located in the mountainous region of Croatia, in the picturesque village of Lokve. This place is also known as "the green heart of Croatia" or "Croatian Switzerland". The house is ideally located to relax and explore natural beauties of Gorski Kotar, such as national parks, protected landscapes, caves, rivers, lakes and mountains. It is the perfect place for spending time peacefully in nature with your family and friends.The beautiful wood cottage consists of two floors, 80 m² in total. Ground floor is about 40 m² and comprises of the following rooms: a living room with a fireplace, a flatscreen TV with SAT, a double sofa bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchen/dining room with oven, ceramic hob, fridge, deep freezer microwave, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle and dishwasher and washing machine. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and toilet. One bedroom has a double bed (1.60m), sofa bed for one person and a balcony with beautiful forest views. The second bedroom has a double bed (1.60m) and the third bedroom has two single beds ( 2x 0.90 m ). Free wi-fi is provided in the house. Upon your request, there is a possibility of providing you with a crib in case you are coming with a small baby.The house is surrounded by forests so you can easily step outside and start hiking immediately. The relaxing atmosphere, beautiful nature and fresh air provide you with lots of place for relaxing and playing. In front of the house, there is a beautiful terrace with a table and two benches. Here you you can have your meals while enjoying the stunning views of the forest. A barbeque is also provided so you can make delicious food for your loved ones while your kids play on the swing in the meadow in front of the house. We also provide you with parking space next to the house.The whole house is made out of wood and has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The house is surrounded by forest and provides you lots of place for relaxing and playing in the fresh air.The cottage is situated only 350 meters from the magnificent lake "Lokvarsko", where you can swim, sunbath and also take a touristic ride on "Caca splav", raft/boat and enjoy the beauties of the lake and stunning landscapes during the 60- minute ride. The city center is only 2 km drive from the house and there you can find 2 mini-markets, touristic office, cafe bars and touristic attractions such as "Lokvarka cave" and "Frog museum". The closest mini-market for getting your groceries is only 1 km drive from the house. With only 8 km drive you can get to Delnice, "the city of cleanest air", where you can also make your shopping in the big supermarket, visit restaurants, relax in swimming pool and feed the wild animals. The area of Gorski kotar provides a huge amount of activities which can make your days unique such as bike riding, horse riding, rafting, fishing, hiking, having fun at adrenalin parks while doing paintball, zip line or archery. You can also spend your day at "Golubinjak forest park" which is a wonderful place to relax in. It represents the strong bond between outstanding natural beauty and careful human intervention in it. If you wish to explore places outside of Gorski kotar and spend the day at the seaside you can easily get there from Lokve. Only 2 km from the house there is a highway Rijeka- Zagreb which can take you on a 40 km drive and bring you straight to sunny Adriatic coast. There you can visit beautiful cities such as Rijeka, Opatija, Crikvenica and Island of Krk.
