LOCATIONGórskie Domki are part of the BORSZÓWKA resort. They are located in the mountain village of Szklarska Poreba, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Poland in the mountains called Karkonosze. The cottages are located 5 minutes by car from the very centre of Szklarska Poreba (2.1km), close to the railway station Szklarska Poreba Górna, and lie on the thread of the tourist route which runs through the area. It is an ideal starting point for the main tourist routes, ski lifts, cycling and cross-country skiing trails, guaranteeing full relaxation.The cottage is made according to regional architecture where the designers combined elements of traditional construction with modern elements, giving the comfort expected by everyone these days. The cottage has its own heating.NUMBER OF SEATS - MOUNTAIN HOUSE - the cottage can be booked for up to 9 people. The cottage is ideal for a group of 4-5 persons, for 6-7 persons it is optimal, and for 8-9 persons the stay is already optional. A detailed description of the equipment can be found below. Available:- two bedrooms + living room + kitchen, porch two terraces, exclusive barbecue- first bedroom in a 2+1+1 configuration (double bed + two single beds)- second bedroom in a 2+1 configuration (double bed + one single bed)- living room with a 140x200 corner sofa bed for 2 persons- bathroom with large shower, hairdryer- smart LED TV with NETFLIX (YouTube and other applications)- the cottage is fully equipped: towels, bed linen, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, liquid soap, toilet paper- fully equipped kitchen, cooker, pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups, coffee maker, coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher- fireplace- separate garden with terrace- concrete barbecue- laundry dryer- hoover and other cleaning accessoriesOUTDOOR SPACE1) THE SPRINGFIELD - a stream runs through the middle of the resort with three bridges that lead to the swimming pool, playground, barbecue shed and campfire.2) SWIMMING POOL - available from May until the end of the warm summer days is an outdoor outdoor heated swimming pool with dimensions 4x8m and a depth of 100 cm with a view mainly for children, but also for adults. The water temperature is maintained by special panels that collect the sun's rays.3) BARBECUE, BARBECUE HOUSE, FIREPLACE - there is an outdoor fireplace with a tripod barbecue and a shed with tables and benches under which there is also a concrete barbecue.4) HOT BAG / RUSKA BANIA - two Russian tubs (hot barrels) with 3 tons of hot water at a temperature of 38-40 degrees C. Prepared on guests' individual request and may incur an additional charge.5) SAUNA - Outdoor sauna in the form of a barrel located in the riverbed directly above the river with a 200 cm glass window overlooking the flowing water. Prepared on guests' individual request and may incur an additional charge.6) PLAY GROUND - A playground for the youngest with a swing, footbridge, climbing frame, etc.7) BOISK - A field for playing handball, darts etc.8) PARKING PARK - large car park for up to 20 cars.MORE DETAILEDSMALL EQUIPMENT - the standard of equipment is typical of a hotel, with towels in the bathroom, pool towels, beds have dressed linen, dishwasher tablets, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid in the kitchen, cleaning accessories including a hoover.BASIN - at your disposal from May until the end of the warm summer days is an outdoor swimming pool 4x8m in size and 100 cm deep with a view mainly for children, but also for adults. The water in the pool is heated by special panels that collect the sun's rays and the water temperature is dependent on the amount of sunshine.SMALL CHILDREN - it is possible to order for small children, a bath tub, a potty, a toilet seat, a podium, a travel cot and a feeding chair.PUPILS - are welcome, provided they can accept the new place in a way that does not disturb other guests, are not let loose without direct supervision in the resort and the toilet is cleaned by the owners. We limit the number of pets at the resort. There is no additional charge for pets. Arrival with a pet requires prior notification.KITCHEN - is fully equipped with small household appliances - 2 burner induction hob, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, coffee machine, as well as tableware for up to 9 people (cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, pans, dishwasher tablets, etc.).BREAKFASTS - it is optionally possible to purchase breakfast in the guesthouse, which can also be delivered to the cottage. However, please check with the staff whether we are able to deliver your order at the time.SUMMER TERRACE - you can access the summer terrace directly from the kitchen area. If the rainy weather is not in your favour, there is also a covered terrace at the front of the building or a spacious balcony on the first floor.GRILL - there is a large barbecue at the cottage for the exclusive use of each cottage, and barbecue accessories in the kitchen.RIVER - a small river flows through the resort grounds in a rapid stream.FIREPLACE - a semi-automatic fireplace is available for cooler evenings so that everyone can light it without any problems at the push of a button. The fireplace is fed with eco pellets - compressed sawdust. The standard fireplace contains 15 kg of pellets, but if you need more, you can request more.HOT TUBE / RUSSIAN BANYA - an ideal solution for spending an evening is a fantastically relaxing Russian bubble, whose effects are similar to those of a sauna, with the difference that in water at 38°C the pleasure lasts 1-2h-3h, instead of 5-15 min as in a sauna. Due to the long process of heating 3,000 litres of water it is required to report the preparation at least 8h before the planned use. We prepare the sauna on individual request of our guests and this is charged extra.SAUNA - for those who think they will freeze when using the Russian sauna, a Finnish sauna is available to warm up in the winter evenings and beyond. The sauna is located outside in the form of an overturned barrel standing over the stream with a huge viewing window of 200 cm in diameter overlooking the stream. The sauna is tailor-made for guests and is subject to an additional charge.DRYINGROOM FOR SKIERS/SPORTS - during winter as well as summer sports - boots, gloves, hats need to be dried. There is a special drying room for our athletes.INTERNET - fast (ORANGE - fibre optic up to 900Mb) and free wireless internet is available throughout the building.LANDSCAPES - in order to make comfortable use of the surrounding green area, deckchairs are available.FIREPLACE and GARDEN - in a large area belonging to the cottages and the guesthouse (for shared use) you will find a fireplace with a barbecue shelter with tables for about 20 people and a large concrete barbecue.A PLAY AREA is available for the youngest children with four swings, a mini climbing rock, two slides and a fitness module.A volleyball and badminton court is available for the youngest and slightly older children. You can pick up a ball and paddles at the reception of the guesthouse.PARKING AND ACCESS - parking is available for a large number of cars just off the asphalt road. There is a gently sloping tarmac road leading to the guesthouse, where any two-wheel drive car should be able to cope.ECOLOGY and HEATING - the entire building is illuminated by LED bulbs, so the power consumption of a single point does not exceed 5W! The thermal insulation is on the level of a passive house and the control of the temperature in the rooms is realised thanks to an electronic thermostat, which, combined with an ecological source as fuel in the fireplace, allows us to call the house ecological.
