The location of this older, well-preserved chalet is in the centre of the hiking trail area, which is also popular with bikers. The distance to the village with shopping facilities, thermal baths, indoor swimming pool and bus station is 1 kilometre. The nearest mountain can be reached on foot or by cable car, it is the mountain station of Vounetz at 1630 metres. Ski lifts can be used here in winter, while in summer you can enjoy wonderful hikes with views of the Fribourg Pre-Alps.There is also a reservoir near Charmey, the "Lac de Montsalvens". Charmey is on the way to the Jaun Pass and is the last village where people still speak mainly (but not only!) French. From the chalet you can make excursions to the hiking and skiing areas as well as cycle tours. There are several restaurants and good shopping facilities on site.There is plenty of space around the chalet to play or relax.Sleeping places: It has sleeping places (beds) for 4 people. A mattress can be provided for the 5th person. If babies are travelling with you: You must bring your own cot.Other sports and leisure activities: Hiking, visit to the thermal spa with wellness, swimming in the indoor pool, excursion by cable car to 1600 metres, visit to the "Charmey Aventures" theme park halfway up. Visit to alpine huts (guided hikes in summer) Visit to the Cailler chocolate factory in the neighbouring village of Broc. Visit to the museum in Charmey (regional arts and crafts)Excursion possibilities: See above! Excursions are possible at any time of year. Buses leave 1km from the chalet and cars can drive right up to the front of the holiday home.Other living room equipment (living room 1): There is a bookcase, a side table by the sofa, a chest of drawers for storage, a small table for the balcony, a corner cupboard, a dining area with a large wooden dining table, a TV set, the chest of drawers and the corner cupboard are reserved as storage space for the landlord.Other bedroom furnishings (bedroom 1): Bedroom with wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, the larger bedroom has a WC and washbasin in the adjoining room. The beds are next to each other.Other kitchen equipment (kitchen1): There is a kitchen cupboard with counter, but no seating, the living/dining room is right next to the kitchen. The fridge contains a freezer compartment.Sports facilities in the area: Mountaineering, Mountain biking, Paragliding, Cycling, Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing, Sports centre, Tennis
